The dimensions are 10” long and 5” tall. Note, it is not designed to be worn up at your shoulder.

New Hope Girls is a non profit based in the Dominican Republic that fights trafficking, abuse and exploitation. In their workshops, they employ women artisans and pay a living wage in a safe, supportive and healthy environment.

It is not just economic empowerment - it is transformational employment.

The workshops serve as one of their core prevention strategies because when women are able to earn a living wage in a safe environment the risk for exploitation is greatly reduced. Proceeds from their bag sales are used to support their work rescuing young girls and walking with them in healing and identity restoration.

Each New Hope Girls bag is crafted by an artisan living and working in the Dominican Republic. Through the work of her hand, she is providing for her family with dignity and developing leadership skills. Each New Hope bag includes a special hang tag featuring the story and signature of the woman who created it. This bag represents so much to her - and to us.
